Contractor.MBA is operated by Rooted Mission LLC. These policies apply when you visit our website, purchase or enroll in a Contractor.MBA program, access our content, submit an assessment or interview, or participate in our community.

By using this website, purchasing from Contractor.MBA, or accessing Contractor.MBA content, you agree to these policies.

TERMS OF USE

1. Educational Purpose

Contractor.MBA provides professional business education for contractors and construction business owners. Our programs are designed to help participants strengthen areas such as business operations, profitability, financial management, estimating, job costing, systems, capacity, growth, and commercial readiness.

Contractor.MBA does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, engineering, licensing, insurance, employment, or other regulated professional advice. Participants remain responsible for evaluating and implementing decisions within their own businesses and for obtaining appropriate professional advice when necessary.

2. Lawful Use

You agree to use the Contractor.MBA website, products, programs, community spaces, downloads, templates, and materials only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not harm Contractor.MBA, Rooted Mission LLC, other participants, or any third party.

3. Enrollment and Payment

Program pricing, payment terms, and available payment methods are displayed at checkout.

Payment may be processed through Kajabi Payments or other available payment providers. Where third-party payment methods such as Klarna, Afterpay, Google Pay, or similar services are available, use of those services may also be subject to the provider's separate terms and eligibility requirements.

Enrollment is not complete until payment has been successfully processed.

If a program is offered through a payment plan or subscription, you authorize the payment method provided at checkout to be charged according to the terms presented at the time of purchase. Failed or missed payments may result in paused or canceled access where permitted by the applicable enrollment terms.

4. Refund Policy

For Contractor.MBA programs requiring an Intake Assessment, participants may request a refund before the required Intake Assessment has been submitted, unless a different written refund policy is stated for a particular program, sponsored cohort, promotion, or enrollment agreement.

Once the required Intake Assessment has been submitted, participant onboarding and program preparation begin and tuition becomes non-refundable.

To request a refund, contact [email protected] within the applicable refund window and include your name, purchase email, program purchased, purchase date, and the reason for the request.

Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method when possible. Processing times may vary by payment provider. Access to digital content, templates, community areas, or other program resources may be removed when a refund is approved.

Any different refund terms presented in writing for a specific program, sponsored cohort, promotion, or enrollment agreement will control for that enrollment.

5. Program Access and Changes

Access dates, program schedules, cohort dates, certificate requirements, and delivery formats may vary by program.

Contractor.MBA may reasonably update lesson sequencing, instructors or contributors, program materials, assignments, exercises, technology platforms, live-session schedules, supporting resources, or similar program elements when necessary to improve delivery or maintain program quality.

Material changes that substantially affect an enrolled participant's program will be communicated when appropriate.

6. Participant Accounts

Your Contractor.MBA account is for your individual use unless your enrollment agreement specifically provides otherwise.

You may not share login credentials, give another person unauthorized access to paid materials, resell course access, reproduce substantial portions of the program, or distribute Contractor.MBA resources outside your authorized personal or internal business use.

You are responsible for keeping your login information private. Contractor.MBA may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account is being misused.

7. Intellectual Property

Contractor.MBA curriculum, frameworks, teaching methods, videos, lessons, Contractor Reps, templates, worksheets, calculators, playbooks, assessments, graphics, written materials, downloads, and related educational content are owned by or licensed to Rooted Mission LLC unless otherwise stated.

Purchasing or receiving access to a program gives you a limited license to use the materials for your own learning and legitimate internal business operations. Enrollment does not transfer ownership of Contractor.MBA intellectual property.

Unless we provide written permission, you may not copy, publish, sell, teach, license, distribute, upload, resell, reproduce, create derivative commercial works from, or otherwise commercially exploit Contractor.MBA materials.

8. Participant Work and Submitted Information

You retain ownership of the business information and original materials you create about your own company.

When you submit assignments, assessments, interviews, reflections, forms, or other materials, you authorize Rooted Mission LLC to review and process that information for purposes including delivering the program, providing feedback, evaluating learning, tracking participant progress, improving Contractor.MBA, and conducting internal program analysis.

We will obtain appropriate permission before publicly using identifiable participant stories, recordings, testimonials, photographs, or similar material for marketing unless another written agreement already provides that permission.

 9. Interviews and Recordings

Certain Contractor.MBA experiences may include video interviews, recorded sessions, assessments, or participant reflections.

Participation in a recording intended for public marketing, promotional, testimonial, or identifiable research-publication use may be subject to a separate release or consent.

Completing an intake, assessment, or educational interview does not automatically give Contractor.MBA unrestricted permission to publicly publish your likeness, voice, statements, or identifying business information.

10. Community Guidelines

Contractor.MBA is designed for serious contractors, business owners, and professionals who want practical growth, better systems, and higher operating standards.

By participating in any Contractor.MBA community, group, call, event, comment section, or member space, you agree to:

  • Treat other members, guests, instructors, and team members with professionalism and respect.
  • Keep discussions reasonably connected to business growth, learning, and the purpose of the community.
  • Refrain from harassment, threats, bullying, discriminatory attacks, or intentional disruption.
  • Avoid spam, irrelevant promotions, affiliate links, unsolicited lead-generation posts, or sales pitches without permission.
  • Protect private member content, screenshots, recordings, templates, discussions, and confidential business information.
  • Avoid presenting yourself as a Contractor.MBA or Rooted Mission LLC representative without written permission.
  • Avoid using the community to collect member information, solicit employees, recruit clients, or promote competing offers without approval.

Contractor.MBA may remove posts, restrict participation, suspend access, or remove participants who violate these guidelines or materially harm the learning environment.

11. Third-Party Services

Contractor.MBA uses third-party technology providers to operate its programs and website. These may include services for website and course hosting, payments, forms and assessments, video interviews, email communications, analytics, project administration, and other program operations.

Current providers may include Kajabi, Fillout, Hireflix, Google Workspace, and other service providers used in our normal operations. These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

12. No Guarantee of Business Results

Contractor.MBA provides education, frameworks, tools, examples, exercises, templates, community support, and business-building resources.

We do not guarantee specific outcomes, including revenue or profit increases, contract awards, financing or funding, business growth, licensing or certification eligibility, commercial or government contracts, improved credit, hiring success, operational improvement, project volume, or any particular financial result.

Results vary based on each participant's market, pricing, costs, team, effort, execution, experience, timing, financial position, customer demand, business decisions, and other factors outside our control.

Any examples, case studies, testimonials, or earnings references are illustrative only and do not promise or imply that you will achieve the same result.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rooted Mission LLC and Contractor.MBA will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or business losses resulting from a participant's use of or reliance on educational material, programs, tools, or community content.

Participants remain responsible for their own business decisions, actions, compliance obligations, and results. Nothing in these policies excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Contractor.MBA develops. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date. Material changes affecting existing participants may also be communicated directly when appropriate.
